TDI Full Cave
The TDI Full Cave Diver course is the definitive step in your training as a cave diver. Designed for those who have already completed the TDI Intro to Cave Diver course or an equivalent certification, this program will train you to conduct complex cave dives, with no penetration limits and in the complete absence of natural light. You will learn to handle the most challenging situations that can arise in this extreme environment, consolidating your skills and ensuring that you can conduct deep and extended cave dives with complete confidence and safety.
Course prerequisites:
- Minimum age 18.
- Minimum certification of TDI Introductory Cave Diver, or equivalent.
- If decompression dives are to be conducted in training, the student must be TDI Decompression Procedures certified or equivalent, or this training may be conducted concurrently. If courses are taught concurrently, ALL requirements for both courses must be met and registrations processed upon completion.

The diving equipment you are going to use
In the TDI Full Cave course , you will use specialized equipment, adapted for cave diving:
- Double tank (backmount or sidemount) with redundant regulators, providing safety and autonomy during prolonged dives.
- Primary, secondary and emergency guide reels , essential for advanced cave navigation.
- High-power primary and backup diving lights , to ensure visibility in total darkness.
- Technical buoyancy compensating vest (BCD) or harness , designed for precise control in confined spaces.
- Technical diving computer, which allows you to manage multiple gas mixtures and accurately calculate bottom and decompression times.
